As a performance-based school, Tri.Art offers multiple annual opportunities for students to showcase their talents on stage.
We foster a safe, supportive, and professional environment that emphasizes both transferable life skills and professional growth.
Summer Schools
Our award-winning annual Summer School intensives, held each August, cater to two age groups and offer a rich, immersive experience in the performing arts. The Summer Schools are open to anyone wishing to participate.
Junior Summer School (ages 8–14) focuses on developing skills in acting, singing, and dancing through themed workshops led by professional arts practitioners. Each year features a new theme—either based on a scripted performance or a student-devised production—designed to foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration.
Senior Summer School (ages 12–21) is a two-week musical theatre intensive that culminates in a fully staged production performed over 3–4 shows. Working with a licensed script, students train in a professional-style environment ideal for those aspiring to a career in the performing arts.
Led by an experienced, award-winning team, our Summer School offers a supportive yet rigorous setting where every student is encouraged to grow, take creative risks, and deliver a performance they can be proud of.

Easter School
Each year, our weekly students come together for an intensive week of dancing, singing, and acting, culminating in a vibrant showcase across three performances.
Act 1 features all our ballet students uniting to tell a story—alternating annually between classical and whimsical themes. Act 2 presents a dynamic cabaret-style performance, highlighting the full range of dance and performing arts offered at Tri.Art.
This annual event provides a valuable platform for hundreds of students to perform, build confidence, form lasting friendships, strengthen teamwork, and deepen their appreciation for the world of dance and performing arts. Booking for 2026 showcase opens to Tri.Art Students in January 2026.
Smaller scale performance opportunities and collaborations
Throughout the year, we create one-off performance opportunities for our weekly students. These include collaborations with professional artists and companies, educational outreach projects on professional stages, and community events such as Frome Carnival and the Merlin Theatre’s Christmas production.
We value community and celebrate it through annual student parties. We also offer a Senior Student Committee and a Student Volunteer Programme, providing opportunities to engage beyond the stage. Through these initiatives, senior students can develop skills in areas such as teaching assistance, costume and set design, media, lighting and technical design, producing, stage management, and more.
