What style of classes do we offer:
Ballet offers students the chance to develop strength, coordination, and poise through elegant and expressive movement. Our classes focus on technique, musicality, and confidence, all within a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether your child dreams of dancing on stage or simply loves to move, ballet provides a beautiful and rewarding experience for dancers of all levels.
We follow the British Ballet Organisation (BBO) syllabus in our lower and mid-level classes, offering a solid and inspiring introduction to classical training. As students progress into senior levels, they move onto the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) method—an internationally respected syllabus that allows dancers to deepen their technique and artistry with greater precision and maturity.
Our ballet pathway supports dancers with structured progression, optional exams, and performance opportunities, all tailored to each student’s pace and potential.
Contemporary dance blends technique with storytelling, encouraging dancers to explore movement that is fluid, expressive, and emotionally connected.
We begin with Creative Contemporary classes for our younger students—these sessions introduce foundational contemporary techniques in a playful and imaginative way, while celebrating individuality, creativity, and freedom of expression.
As students grow, this creative focus remains central as we transition into graded training, following both the British Ballet Organisation (BBO) and i-Path contemporary syllabi. These structured pathways build technical skill, performance quality, and self-expression, while giving students the tools to explore their own unique movement style.
Whether just starting out or progressing through senior grades, contemporary offers a rewarding and personal journey for every dancer.
Jazz is a vibrant and ever-evolving dance style rooted in African American culture and rhythm. It developed alongside jazz music in the early 20th century, growing through social dances and theatrical performance, and later branching into a wide range of expressive forms seen on stage and screen today.
Our jazz classes are energetic, expressive, and empowering—perfect for students who love to move with style and confidence. Classes focus on strong technique, including sharp lines, kicks, leaps, and turns, while encouraging students to bring personality and performance to their movement.
Students explore a variety of jazz styles throughout their training, including:
- Broadway Jazz, inspired by musical theatre
- Commercial Jazz, seen in music videos and concerts
- Lyrical Jazz, blending contemporary fluidity with jazz technique
Jazz is fantastic for developing versatility, stage presence, and physical strength—whether you’re dreaming of the West End or just want to dance with passion and flair.
Commercial dance evolved through the entertainment industry. It’s the kind of dance you see in music videos, live concert tours, award shows, and adverts. It blends elements of street styles with jazz and contemporary influences—focusing on performance, impact, and flavour.
In our classes, dancers explore a wide range of choreography influenced by these rich cultural roots and current commercial trends. We emphasise:
- Musicality
- Confidence and style
- Coordination and agility
- Authentic expression and individuality
Whether students are learning sharp commercial routines or groove-based hip-hop foundations, Commercial classes are designed to be fun, empowering, and full of personality. These styles encourage dancers to connect with the music, express their unique self, and perform with power and confidence.
Acro is an exciting and physically rewarding style that combines elements of dance with acrobatic movement. It includes skills such as rolls, cartwheels, handstands, walkovers, aerials, and partner balances, all taught with a strong focus on technique, strength, control, and—most importantly—safety.
What sets Acro apart is not just the tricks, but how seamlessly it blends into dance choreography. Movements are taught with an awareness of rhythm, style, and performance, allowing students to integrate their skills artistically into routines across genres such as jazz, contemporary, or commercial.
All classes are structured in a safe, progressive environment where students build core strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness at a pace that suits them. Skills are layered gradually to ensure proper alignment, reduce risk of injury, and develop the confidence needed to perform dynamic movements with control.
Learning acrobatic skills can greatly enhance a dancer or performing arts student’s repertoire by:
- Increasing their physical versatility and stage presence
- Building resilience, coordination, and mental focus
- Offering tools to perform more complex, visually striking choreography
- Opening up more performance and audition opportunities in both dance and theatre
Whether aiming for a career in the performing arts or simply looking to challenge themselves in new ways, Acro is a fun, empowering discipline that helps dancers stand out—both technically and artistically.
Our Triple Threat programme is designed for students who are passionate about singing, dancing, and acting—the three key skills needed to thrive in musical theatre and broader performing arts.
Being a “triple threat” means having the ability to perform confidently across all three disciplines, giving students a strong advantage in auditions, productions, and future performing arts training. This well-rounded approach builds not only technical skill, but also versatility, confidence, and stage presence.
In each session, students work on:
🎭 Acting – Character work, script study, improvisation, and scene performance.
🎤 Singing – Vocal technique, breath control, ensemble singing, and solo performance.
💃 Dance – Musical theatre choreography, jazz technique, and performance skills.
Our programme focuses on integration—teaching students how to combine all three elements in performance, just like they would in a stage production. Classes often include numbers from West End and Broadway musicals, offering students a chance to connect with iconic material while developing their own performance identity.
Students also benefit from:
- 🎬 Performance projects and live showcases
- 🧠 Skills in collaboration, discipline, and storytelling
- 🎤 Experience with audition techniques and script/song interpretation
- 💫 Opportunities to take on leadership or featured roles in school productions
Whether your child aspires to a career on stage or simply loves performing, our Triple Threat programme provides a fun, challenging, and supportive space to grow into a confident, capable performer.
